Third-graders in Lucretia Simone’s class at Connolly School recently learned about simple machines as part of their studies. Over the holiday break, the students created an invention with one or two simple machines, using only materials found in their homes. The class then displayed their inventions at an Inventor’s Museum on Jan. 12. Connolly students from all grades and class parents had an opportunity to see and hear presentations on each invention.
