Dr. Seth Newman of Newman Orthodontics spoke to students at Landing School about keeping their teeth healthy in recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Month on Feb. 25.

Marking his seventh year visiting the school, Dr. Newman told students to brush three times daily, floss, eat healthy foods and see a dentist twice a year to keep their teeth healthy. He also showed the children pictures of what happens to teeth if they aren’t cared for properly and played a video that demonstrated what to expect when visiting the dentist.

Once Dr. Newman finished his presentation, he answered students’ questions. He also provided the children with dental goody bags that contained a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, reading material and a pencil.
