Members of the Builders Club visited the First Presbyterian Church on Jan. 27 to feed the less fortunate men in the community. The club’s members cooked a meal consisting of an appetizer, main course and dessert. The appetizer consisted of fresh vegetables and a salad, the main course included roasted chicken, bread, pasta and string beans, and the dessert offered homemade goods, Dunkin' Donuts and fresh fruit.

Toward the end of the trip, all Builders Club members put together a "lunch bag" for the men to take the next day. The bags contained sandwiches, granola bars, bottled water, fresh fruit and chips. They also had necessities for the cold weather, such as hand warmers. All of the bags were assembled by the club members, who also donated the items enclosed.

It was an amazing experience for us all. It helped us appreciate what we have, and it also helped us learn to help others in need. We all enjoyed helping and would love to do it again.
