Members of Finley’s Builders Club went to the First Presbyterian Church on March 23 to feed the less fortunate.

This was the second time club members visited the church to prepare and serve a three-course meal. The appetizer consisted of fresh vegetables and a salad, while the main course included roasted chicken, pulled pork, chili, bread, pasta and mixed vegetables. Dessert included homemade baked goods and fresh fruit.

At the end of the trip, club members assembled to-go bags for the men to take with them the next day. The bags contained cookies, granola bars, bottles of water and fresh fruit, as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste. Club members donated all of the items in the to-go bags.

The visit reminded the students to appreciate what they have and to help others in need. Everyone enjoyed helping and would love to do it again.
