Students had an opportunity to explore their postsecondary options when Glen Cove High School held its fourth annual college fair on April 21.

The event, organized by the school’s guidance department, included more than 125 college representatives, as well as military personnel from every branch of the armed forces. In addition to receiving pertinent information on the many academic institutions, families had an opportunity to take part in two workshops: “Transitioning to College for Students with Disabilities,” presented by Alyssa Provenzano, assistant director of disability services at New York Institute of Technology; and “Understanding the SAT and ACT,” presented by Evan Wessler, vice president of Method Test Prep.

Students of all grades were in attendance, including a large showing of eighth-graders from Robert Finley Middle School. A special thank-you to guidance secretary Michelle Wall, who helped organize the fair.
