Glen Cove High School’s Class of 2020 had an opportunity to get acquainted with school personnel when they attended Freshman Orientation on Aug. 30.

At the event, the incoming freshmen received their class schedules and copies of the school’s academic course guide. They also met with guidance counselors, took a tour of the school building and enjoyed a barbecue lunch courtesy of the school’s PTSA. Principal Antonio Santana, Assistant Principal Allen Hudson III and Assistant Principal Alexa Doeschner welcomed the incoming students and encouraged them to work hard throughout their high school careers.

“I’m really optimistic about the incoming freshman class,” Principal Santana said. “I’m very much looking forward to a great four years.”
