Deasy students learned about healthy habits when nursing students from Molloy College visited their school for a health fair on Oct. 18.

The students took part in a variety of informational sessions that educated them on the importance of healthy eating and exercise. They also learned about the size and function of the heart and ran in place before taking their pulse.

The dental hygiene session offered students tips on how to properly brush their teeth, while hand hygiene focused on the importance of washing hands regularly. They also learned about emergency supplies to keep in a backpack.

The students had a wonderful time at the health fair and learned many valuable facts to keep themselves healthy in the future. A special thanks to the nursing students at Molloy College for sharing their time with the children.
