DECA Scores Big At Regional Competition

On Saturday January 7, 2012, 14 Glen Cove High School (GCHS) Distributive Education Club of America (DECA) members competed in the Nassau County Regional DECA Competition, the first competition of 2012.  Competitors had to put their knowledge and skills to the test as they faced off against competitors from many high schools in Region 1N, Nassau County.  

Some of the GCHS students were experienced competitors, while several were first-time competitors. When all was said and done, all 14 Glen Cove students who competed were finalist winners in their categories and will now move on to the State level of competition in Rochester this coming March.

Under the direction of DECA Club advisor Deborah Pearsall, students in the GCHS chapter participated in various competitions in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship Congratulations on an outstanding performance by all GCHS competitors.
