Gribbin Students Learn About Earth Day

During the week of April 17, Gribbin School first-graders in Coleen Brunhuber’s class read several books and watched a few videos about Earth Day.

The class made a list of ways to help the Earth and each student made a promise to celebrate Earth Day every day. They also made a craft for their class’ hallway bulletin board, "Small Hands Can Change the World."

As part of their Earth Day celebration, the students worked in partnerships to use the Book Creator App, inserting pictures, text and voice recordings about Earth Day. When they were finished, they presented their final product with the class. The students had a wonderful time.
