In addition to her administrative experience, Mullan spent seven years as a general education teacher, teaching pre-K, kindergarten and first-grade at P.S./M.S. 029 – The Melrose School.

A Massapequa resident, Mullan has a Master of Science in special education (birth-grade 2) and literary studies (birth-grade 6) from Hofstra University, and a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and history. She also holds New York State professional certifications in early childhood education (birth-grade 2), childhood education (grades 1-6), literacy (birth-grade 6), special education (birth-grade 2) and as a school building leader.

Mullan is looking forward to meeting and fostering relationships with all the Connolly School students and their families.

"I’m excited to work with the school community to continue the tradition of high expectations for our students and ensuring that all learners are ready for the next step in their educational journey," Mullan said.
