The following students’ artwork was selected to represent Glen Cove in the 2018 All-County Exhibit sponsored by the Art Supervisors Association: Frank Andrade Mendez, Mikaila Ayala, Emily Budraitis, Jessica Callaghan, Diana Canales, Celeste Canizales, Chloe Cedeno, Veronica Cruz, Giacomo D’Ambrosio, Joshua Filippone, Julianna Gomez, Ellie Knobel, Julia Lucidi, Natalia Monsale, Ellis Santos, Abigail Suleman, Colton Valeo, Lorena Valverde, Carla Vazquez-Jimenez, Natalie Weigand and Odalis Yanes.

The exhibit honored the most talented young visual artists in Nassau County and was held at Farmingdale State College’s Roosevelt Hall on March 25. Students from kindergarten through 12th grade were chosen to participate in this celebrated event. The exhibit provided a unique opportunity to view the talents and accomplishments of a diverse group of students throughout our county.

The district is proud to announce that Mikaila Ayala was selected to receive a Senior Scholarship Award. Mikaila is a talented young artist who plans on pursuing an art degree at college. Congratulations to Mikaila, and to all those who participated.
