The Glen Cove CSD Board of Education and administration are continuing to seek input from all community residents regarding the scope of work to be included in any future bond referendum. In addition to discussions held during board of education meetings, the board hosted a community bond forum on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Glen Cove High School. Community residents were able to express their opinions and ask questions pertaining to a future bond and the scope of work.

To ensure that residents have multiple opportunities to express their opinions, the board of education is inviting all residents to attend the board of education meeting on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Glen Cove High School auditorium.

In place of the Superintendent’s Update, a standard agenda item, that time will be allocated for all community residents who wish to express an opinion or ask questions regarding a possible future bond.

“We hope to hear from more residents regarding their suggestions and concerns about a future capital bond proposal,” said Board of Education President Gail Nedbor-Gross. “The board wants to ensure the public has plenty of opportunities to share their thoughts and ideas prior to any bond being finalized for a  future vote. Hopefully, more community members will join us at these meetings, as we eagerly want to hear from as many people as possible.”
