DECA Impresses at State Conference

Glen Cove High School DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) members had an impressive showing at the annual New York State DECA State Career Conference and Competition in Rochester, N.Y. Students participated in various competitions in business, marketing and entrepreneurship. The following Glen Cove DECA Chapter members were among nearly 2,000 students in attendance:

Glen Cove High School DECA received a plaque for fundraising for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, this year's New York State designated DECA charity. The chapter also received an award for having increased their membership this year. The chapter adviser is Judi Geraghty, her first year at the helm.

The district congratulates all of the students for their outstanding effort and accomplishments and for making Glen Cove High School DECA proud.
