Online Tools:

Google Classroom:

This is the most commonly used online tool. It is being used in just about every classroom in the middle and high schools, as well as in some elementary classes. When you want to know what work is due, what work your child(ren) has turned in, or what is coming up in a particular class, this is the place to start. Remember--this is only accessible with a Google Apps for Education account, which means that there are only two ways for a parent to see a child's Google Classroom: through the school-issued Chromebook, or logging in to the child's Google account on any internet-connected device.  Watch the videos below to acquaint yourself with the layout and functionality of Google Classroom and Google Drive.

Kami:

Kami is an online PDF markup tool that lets students write on, edit and created PDF files on their Chromebooks. Kami integrates seamlessly with Google Classroom, allowing students to easily create or markup documents and share them with their teachers. The two videos below explain how to use Kami alongside Google Classroom and Google Drive. For additional tutorials on the various features of Kami, please visit their YouTube Channel: Kami Official YouTube Channel
