Food Pantry Donations from Landing

At a recent Landing K Kids virtual meeting, the students voted unanimously to donate $316 to the Glen Cove Food Pantry. The students raised the funds at their pen and pencil sale held prior to schools closing for the year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Originally, the K-Kids had planned to adopt a Koala, but the club decided their funds should go to support the food pantry in their community. Additionally, the Landing K Kids teacher advisor Margaret Clark, in an effort to further support the Glen Cove community, has worked with Landing faculty and staff to raise $2,000 for the food pantry. The Landing School family has been generously donating each week for the past two months.

The Landing K Kids, along with the faculty and staff would like to remind and encourage anyone who can, to support the local food pantries during these tough times.
